Buying Locally & Product Miles
We try to purchase locally as much as possible to help the economy of Yorkshire, more specifically North Yorkshire, and around Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, where we have a few suppliers remaining from our purchase of Old Hamlet Wine & Spice. Other than our purchases of ingredients which almost all originate from overseas, we also have some packaging and other items that are best purchased from other countries.
Strategy
- Reduce the distances travelled for products and services.
- Source as much as possible from within the UK rather than relying on global supply chains.
