Steenbergs Organic is all about fantastic quality products straight from organic farmers in the developing world, where everything we do is done in an ethical way.  Our packaging is simple and practical - no frills and gimmicks - and the product is fresh and what you expect - no fillers or artificial flavours.

We are a branded product business, focused on building our brands.  Our core brands are:

  • Steenbergs Organic - a registered trademark that focuses on quality organic & Fairtrade spices, herbs, seasonings, extracts, herbal teas and specialist teas
  • Peace Tea - a bagged everyday black tea in wonderfully coloured pink & green boxes. Not only is this tea organic and Fairtrade, we give 10% of profits to environmental and social causes in the developing world
  • Green Tea - a bagged everyday green tea in green and white boxes. Once again we give 10% of profits over to good causes
  • Steenbergs.co.uk - our core consumer-facing web shop where we sell all our products. This is where it all began with Sophie and Axel selling herbs and spices over the Internet and at local markets and shows. It's still one of the biggest web sites in this sector in the world and is our best sales & marketing tool.
  • Steenbergs-tea.com - our consumer web site focused on teas. Funky bright coloured design that differentiates it from the core spices web shop, and goes into loads of detail about teas

We're often asked why don't we do private label? 

  • Firstly, we do do a little bit of own label, but we are not in the game of cheap own label, i.e. with our private label you get products in our packaging and at our trade price.
  • Secondly, the reason that we don't really do own label is simple - with Steenbergs Organic we have built a deeply green and ethical business literally from the ground up and our whole business philosophy (heart, soul, anguishes, ups and downs) is in the Steenbergs Organic family of brands. 

We won't compromise our environmental and ethical business style, so retailers, manufacturers and consumers know that with Steenbergs Organic they get quality that makes them smile backed up by real, heart-felt and genuinely practiced green business.  If we started chipping away at this, we couldn't continue to be who we are and we would end out becoming a pale imitation of ourselves or our peers.
