Spices - Bulk

Since the outset, Steenbergs Organic was being asked whether food manufacturers could buy raw materials direct from us.  So since 2005, Steenbergs Organic has been selling organic and Fairtrade spices and herbs, with a full technical back-up. 

An increasing part of our range is gently steam-sterilised, enabling manufacturers to benefit from lower microbial loading, so you can use our products even in cold processing and for Marks & Spencer's specifications.

There are also an increasing number of products with specific focus on food manufacturers:

  • Meat products: organic sausage pre-mixes and seasonings, organic burger pre-mixes, organic bacon & ham cures, organic pate spices, organic quatre epices
  • Bakery products: organic mixed spice (2 blends), organic Fairtrade mixed spice (perfect for Fairtrade mincemeat or Christmas cakes), organic lebkuchen mix, organic koekkruiden and extracts such as organic Fairtrade vanilla extract
  • Chocolate & ice cream: organic Fairtrade vanilla extract and spray-dried vanilla extract
  • Functional ingredients: organic breadcrumbs, organic potato starch, organic rice flour and organic maltodextrin
